Dick (Dickie) was a valued member of the Central High School class of 1952. We went through Midwood School, Piedmont Junior High, and Central High School together, and he was actually almost a lifelong friend. He was so witty, so much fun, and he will be sorely missed. He was much loved and we will always remember him as a wonderful human being and a wonderful friend.

The Lord blessed many young people through the teaching and care of Mr. Jordan. I loved him as my junior high Sunday School teacher at Calvary. He taught me much about loving the Lord and knowing the joy of the Lord as our strength! He always had a kind word to say and a smile and was an encouragement to me in the things of the Lord. May Mrs. Jordan & family know the Lord's sweet comfort and peace during this time.

Dear Dickie, how so I say goodbye to one of my favorite people in the world? We've been the best of friends since we were young teenagers and each memory of you brings a smile to my face. Every memory was a happy one because you brought such joy and happiness whenever you entered a room. It has been such a privilege to know you! You have earned your angel wings, my sweet friend, so fly high as you travel through heaven. Linda, may God grant you peace and His amazing comfort and grace during these days of saying goodbye - he loved you so much. My love always - xxoo.
