I want to offer my deepest and most sincere condolences to Rick's family. I knew Rick and his family when they lived on Ludwig Drive in Charlotte. The passage of time is swift and sure; the departure from this world is not the end, yet the continuation of the journey of the soul. Those who remain can take solace in the memories that shall never parish from the heart and mind.
In the days that have past, and those to come, pleae know that my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you during this most challenging time.

Respectfully,

Deanna

I was so heartbroken to hear of Cousin Rick's early departure from this world. He was definitely a family member I would have liked to know better (many of us McVickers are so darn creative, and Rick with his Woodworking and Music, is a testament to that). My heart is heavy for Pam and Gabrielle and the sisters. Perhaps there's a bit of comfort in knowing that Rick and his Dad are together.

Rick was a very good friend of mine for many years, and then I was lucky enough to have him as my brother in- law. He was one of the funniest, most talented guys I have ever known. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to the McVicker family, and to all the rest of us who loved him. He was a bright star whose light faded far soon.
