Richard Wilson Toms, 73 of Charlotte, passed away on November 13, 2014. He was born February 24, 1941, son of the late William Valentine Toms Jr. and Sarah Wilson Toms. A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, November 15, at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park with Rev. John Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Richard is predeceased by a son, William Valentine Toms III. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Toms of Charlotte; one daughter, Kathy Little and her husband Paul of Charlotte; two granddaughters, Kalea Little, Megan Rhyne and her husband Andy; and a great-granddaughter, Mariana Little all of Charlotte.
