Mr. Cannoy, 55, of Charlotte passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at CMC Pineville.
He was born August 10, 1954 in Welch, West Virginia the son of the late Thomas W. Cannoy and Ella Cannoy. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Cannoy.
Rick was a number one Panther’s fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are his wife, Monica Cannoy; children, Dawn Stock and husband Nicholson, Lisa Cannoy and fiancé Jason Steele, Curtis Hyde, Charlena Hyde, Matt Hyde, Jeremiah Hyde, and Eli Pigford; brother, Andy Corder; sisters, Donna Scott and Linda Cannoy; eight grandchildren, Chris, Tyler, Ariana, Sydney, Alexis, Jaxon, Logan, and Austin; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 17, 2010 at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
