Mr. Francis, age 61, of Charlotte, died Monday, December 15, 2014. He was a son of the late William Lee Francis and Esther Lorine Hudgins Francis. Mr. Francis was a salesman for NAPA Auto Parts. He was former owner of Ace Speed Shop. Mr. Francis was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling, yard work and maintaining his fish aquarium.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM Friday, December 19th at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel. The service to celebrate the life of Rickey Lee Francis will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Barry Shearer, officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; daughter, Cheryl; son, Chad and his wife, Charle’; two grandsons, Hunter and Tucker; and brothers, Donald and his wife, Sharon and Billy and his wife, Pam; and Aunt Adell.
