Robbie will be missed so much! My cousin was a unique combination of feistiness and charm, taking some from his momma Mona & some from his daddy Robert. It is hard to believe that he is gone, but will never be forgotten!! Praying especially for Shirley and his brother Bruce & Beverly (wife) and the rest of the friends and family.
May the Lord keep you close and give you peace.

Love and prayers,

Cindy and Darrell Baucom

So sorry to hear of Robbie's passing. My family went to Shady Brook Baptist with the Aiken family for 40+ years. I was in Charlotte many times in December as my dad passed away from Covid but ran out to Food Lion on Little Rock Rd and saw Robbie and yelled if he was Robbie (hadn't seen him in 25 years) and he said "Yep...who wants to know!". I told him who I was and we stood in the parking lot for 20 minutes talking. So glad I called out to him. Rest In Peace Robbie.

My Brother from another Mother, Robbie. The Aikens & Gibbs' could be found together alot of the time! We went to Shady Brooke Church off Sam Wilson Road from what seamed to be birth, and we spent alot of weekends going and doing something free or very inexpensive! Our family is getting smaller as time goes by, but as long as I live I hope all the good memories stick with me til I go meet y'all in Heaven. Bruce, Beverly & Shirley my sweetest prayers for peace and comfort at this time of grief. We Love yall!

I have been knowing Robbie for the past 44 years. We first met when we both worked at John Fox, off Freedom Drive. Haven't send him much lately, and I regret that. He was a sweet person and I know he is in a better place now. Hate that his time on this earth was cut short. He will be missed. Sending prayers to Bruce, Beverly, and Shirley during this sad time. My husband and Robbie grew up together and we were still neighbors. Our prayers are with the family as you go through this tough time. Please let us know if you need anything!
