Robert DeFranco

Mr. Robert Frederick DeFranco was born March 30, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. One of two children born to the late Dominic and Anna DeFranco. He departed this life o February 17, 2011 at 12:15 pm at Mercy Hospital of Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 74. Robert received Christ at an early age and attended the Church of God International in Berea, Ohio. Robert was joined in marriage to Linda Armstrong DeFranco on November 27, 1982 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Calvary Hill Temple Church of God in Christ. Robert was also the father of three children, and three stepchildren. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1996 where he served 37 years. His hobbies included gardening, bowling and reading. Robert was a very loving husband and father. He was a source of wisdom, inspiration and strength.

He leaves to cherish in his memory: two daughters Dina (Howard) Sachs of Florida, Kimberly Cunningham of Columbus, OH and four sons, Robert F. DeFranco Jr. of Florida, Paul Cunningham Jr. of Oakwood Village, OH, Gary DeFranco of Florida, Edward (Donny) Cunningham of Charlotte, NC; his loving sister Elaine Anzalone of Parma, Ohio and sisrter-in-law Willa Lloyd of Farmington Hills, MI; grandchildren Paul III, Edward (Donny) Jr., Alexys, Jeremy, Justin, Christopher, Kayla, Michael, Manuel, Femme, Derek, and Nathaniel; and a host of great grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loving friends.
