Robert was born to Willie Alman and Betty Lou Estes on April 9, 1931. He worked for Mason and Dixon as a truck driver for much of his life. He was a member of Beth Haven Baptist Church in Denver. Robert’s favorite hobbies include fishing and gardening.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Norma Dotson; son, Terry Dotson; and brother, Charles Dotson. He is survived by his wife, Louise Dotson; daughter Robin Neel and husband Gerald; granddaughter, Holly Currin and husband Patrick; and great grandsons, Parker and Reed Currin. He is also survived by brothers, James Dotson and Melton Dotson; and sisters, Hattie Boesen, Nancy Helms, and Doris Lorene Ward.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery; Reverend David Mims to officiate. Family will gather at 12:00pm, Friday at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home.
