Mr. Robert H. Ennis

“Paw Paw”

Rob, age 56, of Fort Mill passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center Pineville.

He was born August 8, 1954 in Petersburg, Virginia the son of the late Alvis Howard Ennis and Ann Elizabeth Robertson Ennis.

Rob graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1973, attended UNCC and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, and furthered his education with a Master’s Degree in AIC. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. Rob was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by those he loved.

Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Rebecca “Beckie” Ennis; sons, Brian Ennis and girlfriend Shannon Leber and Eric Ennis; brother, Dave Ennis and wife Angie; lifelong friend, Chris Matthews; and K9 companion, Lucy.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, November 1, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church with Dr. Bob Jack officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, c/o The Building Fund, 15000 York Road, Charlotte, NC 28278, or the charity of one’s choice.
