It has been a year, since the Lord called you home. I am so amazed at the stories I still hear of the love and positive affect you had on the lives of so many. You are still making us all smile or share a laugh. I am so proud to be your daughter. You would be amazed to see how much of you lives on in your family. We are proud of you and the love you showed to us and everyone you met. Thank you for being a Christian role model, a loving husband, dad and paw-paw! I MISS YOU and think you often!! It gives me peace to know that a part of you goes with me daily and most of all, that I will see you again in Heaven! May your light shine on forever!

JUDY,LUNDY, &Delaine and family, Robert will always be remembered as a very special friend to all my family. For being there many times when we needed him at the sign shop and being that special father figure for Lisa after Charles passed. All the many trips to Mo. to see my mom and dad who loved him very much. The trips to Va. to the Steel Guitar Conventions in St.Louis, Mo. all the fishing trips him and Charles done together. So many memories to look back on and reflect on. The many trips to Ocean Isle where your home was always a fun time for all. Robert will be missed by Lisa very much them two were like to peas in a pod. You all have our prayers but we know that Robert is much better off than we are . He suffered long and fought a long hard battle. God Bless you all and keep you all. Love you all Lucille and LISA

As I watched the casket slowly being carried to the front of the chapel, I noticed the beautiful handmade quilt that draped over it. During the service it was told that this man who loved big trucks, guns and power tools, pain stakingly and lovingly made the delicate quilt that covered his coffin. He ask it be placed there in rememberance. Such depth and acceptance by such a gentle man, who fought such a valiant battle against the cancer that took him. His legacy lives on. Peace be with him and the family
