Judge Rossi, 78, passed away on Dec 22, 2022 in Charlotte, NC. He was born on September 25, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Lorenzo and Ruth Mathers Rossi.
Bob went to Neshaminy High School, Graduated from LaSalle College in 1966, then Syracuse Law in 1969. He worked in the Onondaga County D.A.’s office, and was twice elected to Family Court, where he thrived in helping families and children. In 2010 he retired and moved with his late wife, Della DelVecchio to North Carolina to be closer to his children and play more golf.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Chappell; son, Matthew; and grandchildren, Olivia, JD, Avery, and Barrett.
The service to celebrate and honor his life will be held on Wednesday, December 28th at 2:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service.
