Robert Keith Tucker

On June 13, 2023, after a long respiratory illness, Robert Keith Tucker, beloved father, brother and son, departed this earthly realm and joined his Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. Robert was predeceased by his parents Sonja Henie Williams and Robert Berry Tucker and his son Samuel Tucker. Robert is survived by his son Kenneth Tucker of Youngsville, his brother Bryant Tucker and wife Yvonne of Raleigh, his sister Yvette Williams and husband Mark of Greensboro, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss Robert very much.

Robert was born in Virginia into a military family and moved around quite a bit as a youngster. He lived in Hawaii, South Carolina, California and North Carolina and settled in Raleigh as a young man. Cars and motorcycles were a primary focus of Robert's life; he raced motorcycles as a youth and enjoyed a long career as an automobile paint and body professional as an adult. He was a huge NASCAR fan and liked nothing better than discussions of racing with friends and family.

Robert was a gentleman of faith, possessed of a kind spirit and soul, who always had a smile for everyone and was devoted to his sons Kenny and Sammy.

A memorial service in celebration of Robert's life will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, with visitation at 1pm and service at 2 pm, at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
