Born in Iredell County, North Carolina, Robert carried with him the values of hard work, humility, and kindness throughout his life. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, generous heart, steady wisdom, and sense of humor.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he began a long and respected career with Canteen Vending Company, where he worked for approximately 35 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and unwavering commitment to providing for his family.
Beyond his career, Robert found great joy in tending his vegetable garden. He took pride in growing fresh vegetables and generously sharing the fruits of his labor with family, friends, and neighbors. He also enjoyed listening to his treasured collection of gospel records, finding comfort in the music. More than anything, Robert cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Robert is survived by his four sons, Bobby Warren, Darin Warren, James Warren, and Scott Warren; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.
A funeral service celebrating Robert's life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory and celebrate the life of a beloved father, grandfather, veteran, and friend.
Robert's legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the family he loved, and the example he set through a life of kindness, generosity, and quiet devotion. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
