I am Ronnie's step mother Betty.  First time I met Ronnie he was a marine stationed in San Diego and he was living with his dad and me until he got out of the Marine Corp..  He was such a free spirit and I am happy that we got to know each other.  Over the years he kept in touch now and then and last time we saw him was when he came because his father was dying.  Got a few calls after he went home and had no clue he was deceased until I tried to contact him by searching the internet and to my sadness found that he had died.  God loves you Ronnie rest in peace.

I am saddened by the news. Ronnie worked for me as a plumber and a friend in California for years. He is a genuine one of a kind. I miss him. I respect him. Many blessings.

Ronnie was a great friend and continually demonstrated the care and concern that true friends show for one another.  I knew him from the time we were 11 years old, and he was always funny, spontaneous, and a little bit crazy. But that was what we always loved about him. My sympathies to all his family, and I am so sorry not to be able to make it tonight or to the service tomorrow. Will never forget my good friend. God bless him and keep him, for he surely is in a better place.

Ronnie was very special to me, his aunt Jo, I knew him as a baby as I would baby sit him and sister,Linda, change his diapers and gave him several spankings, I was only 12.  He and Linda were my heart.  I admired him as a young man, 17 years old, going into the marines and to Viet Nam to serve our country.  He told me a friend died in his arms over there.  He was funny, mischeaveous and very caring.  He loved his sister and when she became sick with lung cancer and needed care he would work in the day and arrange someone to be with her then at night and weekends he would take care for her her.  She died 2 years ago.  He loved his nephew, Scottie, as his own and he told me his legacy was to help Scottie establish and make his plumbing business a success which he did.  It is your turn Josh to take his place.  Love Aunt Jo

I am so sorry for your loss.  I consider it a blessing that I have come to know Ronnie while I am working at Ferguson in Charlotte.  Ronnie was a character that bought laughter to my life and a smile in my heart.  He will truly be missed.  I loved his stories about California.  I never will forget, as Ronnie would leave the office I would tell him, "Have a nice day Ronnie!" and in his way that i loved so much, he would look at me and say "Dont tell me what kind of day to have!"  Then we would both laugh.  He made me appreciate the craziness in life and to just go with the flow!!!!  Hey, he really made me believe that he was Brad Pitt!  but you know what.....?  Brad Pitt got nothing on Ronnie!!! Ronnie was a real character and loved by so many!  Rest in Peace Ronnie!  Love you.  Ann Marie Smith (your girl from Ferguson!)

I am very sorry for your loss.  Ronnie has been a very big part of my life for the past decade or so. I think of him as a part of my own family and will miss him dearly. There is one thing for sure...I will never have the pleasure of knowing anyone quite like Ronnie again in my life. He is one that you could honestly say "broke the mold". My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family...
