Ronald Edwin Rhodes, “Ronnie”, 57, of Charlotte, passed away November 29, 2011. A lifelong resident of Charlotte, Ronnie worked for the NC Department of Corrections in Huntersville from 1983 to 1996. He was a member of the Navy MARS “Military Auxiliary Radio Services” for 25 years and was their current State Director.
Ronnie is predeceased by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sherry; son, Thomas Howard Sisk; grandson, Joseph Thomas Sisk; sisters, Linda (Billy) Rhodes Leagan and Sylvia (Lee Hermansen) Rhodes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 12:00 noon at McEwen Pineville Chapel 10500 Park Rd Charlotte, NC 28210. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
