Ronnie H. Hyde, 94, of Charlotte, NC passed away October 16, 2024. Born January 14, 1930 in Graham County, NC, he was the son of the late Harvey and Artie Vivian (Hice) Hyde. He married Betty Cabe on June 21, 1952 in York, SC.
Ronnie attended Stecoah High School and he owned and operated Hyde's Repair Service where he retired after numerous years of service. He was a member and a deacon of Milhaven Memorial Baptist Church in Charlotte.
Ronnie enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Betty C. Hyde; children, Karen Hyde, Keith (Crystal) Hyde and Kyle Hyde; grandchildren, Justin (Kelley) Hyde and Andrew Hyde; great-grandchild, Pyper Hyde; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his siblings, Woodrow, Monroe, Troy "Posie," Hattie, Leah, Azalea and his twin Lonnie.
A graveside service for Ronnie will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
