We are very sorry for the loss of a great friend, he was part of the starting up of the plant and he is still being remembered as the great person he was.

I am very sorry and shocked to hear about Rudi's passing.  I met Rudi first when he joined us at American Barmag where we worked together for a number of years.  Later on I met him and was in touch with him in Hong Kong and in China.  Rudi was an expert in his field of work and I only heard good things about him.  Whenever we met he struck me as a person who had a very deep sense family values and true friendship.  My thoughts are now with him and his beloved family.

To the Hoffmann Family,  our thoughts and prayers are with you guys and have been since he has been ill. I know it has been a rough time for the family and friends. we have know Rudi for a longtime through great friends of ours. we always looked forword to seeing him when we would come up to visit. I fondly remember the time Rudi was hitting golfballs behind the Hoffmann house. Petra, Patricia and I were inside and noticed Mini needed to go out. We opened the back door, let her out and 10 seconds later heard a loud thump, a dog squeal and then a thunderous scream from our favorite German. Mini snuck into the path of Rudi's drive and got sent halfway across the backyard! The three of us ran out and found a dazed chihuahua and clearly shaken father. Rudi packed up his golfclubs and got himself a beer. It was a perfectly timed trauma. We never let him live that down.

Dear Dolly and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Rudi's passing.  I had the pleasure of working with Rudi for several years at American Barmag and he was always such an upbeat person to be associated with.  Everyone knew how much he loved and treasured his family and I so admired him for that.
