

Born in Troy, North Carolina on June 4th, 1925, she was one of six children of John and LaRue Kinard. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Victor Moya-Mendez and her brother Clyde Kinard. She is survived by her two brothers, Daniel and David and her children: Victor, Robert, John, George, Jenny, Walter, Gary and David along with 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, but also lived in Peru for 18 years.
The legacy of this remarkable woman extends far beyond the boundaries of her roles as a teacher, mother, and devoted Christian. Her impact, marked by grace and warmth, left an unforgettable influence on the lives she touched.
Family will receive visitors from noon until 1pm on January 15, 2024 at Northside Baptist Church, where she was a member for over 40 years. Services will begin at 1pm, followed by a graveside service. Jeanette's memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Please join us in remembering and celebrating a life well lived.
