Ryan Christopher Moffatt, 32, of Charlotte, NC, passed away at home on September 11, 2016. He was born March 26, 1984 in Temple, TX, the son of Christopher and Elaine Moffatt. He attended Providence High School, Dore Academy, and Central Piedmont Community College.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Elaine Moffatt of Charlotte, NC; his father and stepmother, Christopher and Lynn Moffatt of Marietta, GA; and his sister, Lauren Moffatt of New York, NY. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Dr. William and Louise Moffatt; maternal grandparents, Walter and Bernice Gargasz; and cousin, Michael Hasley.
The McEwen Funeral Service is handling memorial arrangements. The memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Samaritan House of Charlotte.
