Saba Roberta Kennedy-Washington, 42, of Charlotte died May 31, 2012. She was daughter of Gertrude Harris Quellie-Kennedy of Charlotte, and the late Robert Quellie-Kennedy, Sr. Saba was born on October 8, 1969 in Monrovia, Liberia.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children,Jesa Iman Washington and Jeremy Zion Washington; brothers, Robert H. Quellie-Kennedy, Jr, George Zellie Kennedy; and sister Ceanea Caroline Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00am in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral and Cremation Service with Reverend Lewis D. Harris, Reverend Momolu Freeman and Reverend Reulita Woods-Marsh officiating.. The viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 until 10:30am. Interment will follow the service in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
