Samantha Hammond of Charlotte died Thursday December 16, 2010. She was 16 years old and a junior at Independence High School.
Samantha is survived by a large family that loved her and will miss her dearly: father, Brian Hammond; mother, Laura Hammond; sister, Christina Rayburn; and brother, Johnathan Hammond, all of Charlotte. She is also survived by grandparents, Joe and Charlotte Hammond of Matthews and Sandra and Dennis O’Rourke of Germantown, MD; aunt and uncle, Dianne and Don Novak; and cousins, Luke, Alex and Tori, all of Matthews. Samantha had many friends that will remember and love her forever.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2010 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
