A native of Charlotte, Mrs. Henderson was born to the late Robert Youngblood and Mary Casey Youngblood on August 4, 1942. She is preceded in death by her son, Randall Ballard.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband, Thomas Henderson; children, Curtis Ballard and wife Robin of Bessemer City, Luther Frank Ballard of Charlotte, Leslie Wade Ballard of Charlotte, Debra Wiener and husband Dieter of Swansea, SC, Sharon Ballard of Charlotte; sister, Gerri Wells of Charlotte; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11:00a.m., Monday, August 11 at Green Memorial Baptist Church, 1324 The Plaza, Charlotte. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
