Born in Huntersville, NC on August 23, 1939, Sandra was a daughter of the late James Harmon Williams and Gladys Hazel Sparrow Williams.
A faithful member of University City United Methodist Church, Sandra had worked as a bookkeeper and tax consultant.
Preceding her death was her husband, Robert Earl “Sonny” Phillips.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy Seth Phillips and John Barry Phillips; a sister, Jane White and five grandchildren.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 pm Friday August 25, 2017 at University City United Methodist Church, 3835 W. WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28269 with Rev. John Boggs officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
