She was Born in Macon Ga, lived in Gray, GA, Pineville, NC, and later moved to Denver, NC.
Sara was married to Robert H Long III for 14 years. She has a son Skyler Page Long age 13, and a daughter, Rebecca Virginia Ann Long age 10.
Sara was preceded in death by her father, Jim M Morgan Jr. of Macon, GA and grand parents, Bruce and Virginia Pope, of Macon, Jack Morgan Sr, of Macon and June Morgan Whelchel, of Atlanta.
Sara is survived by her husband Robert( Robbie) Long, III, a son, Skyler Page Long, and a daughter, Rebecca V Long, her mother, Diane Pope Morgan, Denver NC, one brother, Jim M Morgan, III (Teresa) of Waxhaw. NC. Robbie's father, Robert H. Long Jr. of New Jersey, mother-in-law Faith Lynch, and stepfather, Richard Lynch of Denver NC, and a brother-in-law, Timmy Long (Witchie) of New Jersey. She has several nieces and nephews, and a special friend and mentor, Jeff Bassett.
Sara was a member of Grace Life Church in Pineville. She had a passion for softball. She was an All Star team member for Calvary Sports Ministry and Women's soft ball team at Stough Memorial Baptist Church.
She received The Silver Award from the Girl Scouts of USA.
She had worked for Rite Aid and Boston for several years. She was a consultant for Color Street and homemaker.
A Drop-In Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at McEwen Funeral Home, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210 from 5pm to 8pm where Rev. Bruce League will officiate with prayers.
Burial will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA 31204, where Rev. Rob Hobby will officiate. Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
