Scott Jeffrey Cornwell, 71, of Charlotte, NC, passed on June 26, 2026. Born on December 21, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland, He was the son of the late Yvonne and Jeptha Eli Cornwell. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Manies) Cornwell.
He was the owner and operator of Cornwell Farms; running a sawmill his entire life.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott enjoyed his days fishing and hunting at the "Lockwood Manor."
He is survived by his daughter, Jenny (Dylan Cline) Cornwell and his granddaughter, Josie Cline; along with many friends and family that he considered his own.
In addition to his wife and parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Greg (Anne) Cornwell.
A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held at 11:00 am on July 11, 2026 at The Farm, 1241 Hawfield Road, Charlotte, NC. At the request of the family, please do not wear black to the service. Feel free to wear your best Scott impression. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com
