I'm Shannon's 'Auntie' This boy loved to dance and sing. his favorite song was "A Soldier of Love" and that he was. I miss you and Love you sooo much. It's so hard without you but we know you're not suffering anymore, but you never thought of yourself as suffering. Thank you for being my favorite nephew as I know I was your favorite too.

Our condolences to the family. When you remember Shannon, think of his resilience,his courage in the face of physical pain, his smile, his wisdom beyond his youth.Think of him as a child given great opportunities to do something for God, family, and community simply because he was affected by the love, guidance, and care received. He reciprocated all that was given.

I am honored to have met Shannon.  He appeared to be wise beyond his years.  We now know that he completed his task here on earth.  He will never be forgotten!

Thank you Shannon!!! You are a great role model to other students and a big reason why I love to teach. You never could tell that you ever had any disability because of your smile and drive to do anything.  You inspired others because of how your attitude, which was evident, that you can accomplish anything no matter what obstacle was placed in your way.
