Shirley L. Alexander, 74, years old, peacefully passed away on April 20th 2023. Shirley was born in Wartburg, TN on June 7th 1948 to Lovelene Langley and Johnny Fortner. She retired from Bellsouth in 1998 and dedicated her life to her children & family. She married the love of her life, Carl.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, father, husband, her daughter, Candy and her precious dog, Trouble.
She is survived by her son, Justin Alexander; daughters, Sarah Snyder (Holden) and Amanda Coumbes (Terry). She was a wonderful MiMi to Joshua, Max, Emilie, Nathan, Taylor, Kayleigh, Gabriel and Axel. She loved her best friend, Pat, beloved dog, Charlie and niece, Tracy with many other “children” and their families.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 6th 2023 3-6pm at VFW post 6724 located at 8520 Mt Holly Road Charlotte, NC 28214. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at above address are greatly appreciated.
