Her family will greet friends on Sunday, August 16th, from 2-4 p.m. at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17th, at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel with Pastor Mike Davis of the Lucia Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Memorial Park in Pineville.
Survivors include her husband, G.C. Watts; daughters, Angie Johnson (Ron) and Kellie Lee (Mike); seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be given to Senior TLC, 1875 Remount Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
