She was born January 4, 1982 in Virginia Beach, VA to Darrell Kenneth Welch and Sheila Gail Eure. Sonnet had a fun loving spirit who cared for others and was always willing to help others when she could.
The Welch family will gather to greet friends 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate Sonnet’s life will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel.
Sonnet is survived by her two sons: Malichi and Ke’ Andre; her parents: Darrell and Lisa Welch of Charlotte, NC; her two brothers; Darrell Welch and wife, Michelle and Fred McKaig; her boyfriend, Tony Vargas all of Charlotte, NC; her paternal grandmother, Nina Welch of Missouri and two nephews: Mason and Riley Welch.
