He was born June 3, 1970, and was the son of Peggy Christian and the late Raymond Christian, Sr. Steve served in the U.S. Army for over 21 years.
Steve was survived by his wife, Regina Howard Christian; two stepchildren, Roger Perez and Rene Perez; and three step grandchildren: Sadie Maelynn Abernathy, Brooks Alexander Perez, Millie Grace Abernathy (deceased) and Abram Bo Abernathy. Also, by a niece, Amanda Christian.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Christian, Jr. and a step granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 12 - 1 PM at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. The funeral will begin at 1 PM. Burial will follow afterwards at Pineville City Cemetery, 200 Lowry St., Pineville, NC 28134.
