A graduate of Harding High School, Susan attended CPCC.
Susan was a free spirit who enjoyed numerous trips to the beach, traveling, riding motorcycles, shopping, taking pictures and spending time with her family and friends.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Susan was someone that you could depend on and she was always well put together.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Steve Burnett; daughter, Lauren Burnett; grandson, Jake Hudson; along with numerous cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service to will be held at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC, on July 30, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Come dressed casual and ready to celebrate Susan's life. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com
