Teresa Laverne McKinney

She was born on the 6th of May 1956 in Charlotte NC to the late Barbara Ann Harris and Moses Harris Jr. Mrs. McKinney was a dedicated member of the Greenville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Charlotte, NC.

Teresa will hold a special place in the hearts of her family, her husband, Timothy McKinney; her son, Erald Dumont Harris (Tamika Harris); stepdaughter, Teki McKinney; her six grandchildren, Ariel Harris, Logan Harris, Dejuan Strong, Carington McKinney, Cierra Agnew, and Caegan Bellamy; four sisters, Brenda Harris, Barbara Harris, Helena Gaines (Paul Gaines), Athena Hunter; one brother, Jerry Robinson; nieces, Shanika Davis (Antonio Davis) Jessica Robinson, Ashley Robinson, and Adriana Kelly; nephews, Maurice Carroll, Travis Redmon (Kiera Redmon), Matthew Redmon, and Ricky McKinney; and host of great nieces, great nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her five brothers; George Larry Bankhead, Georgy Harris, Kim Harris and Jamie Hunter.

A visitation will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses--Greenville Congregation, 1315 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC, on March 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm with the Funeral service starting at 2:30 pm.
