Ted was born on June 29, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY to James and Rose Goodenough. After graduating from North Babylon High School, he got started on a long career as a carpenter, building a set of skills that he generously donated to friends and family throughout his life. He was known for his quick wit and strong loyalty, qualities that he passed on to his family.
Ted is survived and missed by his loving wife Diane (née Jansen) of 47 years, and his children Shawn, Diana, Jesse, and Michele (Casey), along with his grandchildren Marc, Jack, and Siena.
A memorial mass for Ted will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church in West Babylon, NY on February 1st at 10 am. A celebration of Ted’s life will be conducted thereafter at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip, NY on February 1st at 11:30 am.
