Hi, I just want your family to know that you still have people that think of you. You were the source of so much joy and laughter in high school.

I know this seems kind of delayed, but I just wanted you to know that I went to HOSA states with you, but I never had the pleasure of meeting you. When my friend told me that you passed, I was shocked because you were so young and you had a great future ahead of you. I told my HOSA at Providence High School about you and I have everyone sign a poster in your honor. It's at South Meck now, hopefully hanging up somewhere so everyone will remember you. You will always be in my thoughts.

I miss thomas so much!! it hasnt beent he same at south meck without him. he was my best friend that anyone could have. He would always made me laugh and have a good time. I always feel his presence with me whereever i am i can feel it. We love you and miss you Thomas LUciano. Hope to see you soon.

It saddens me to read this story of your beloved Thomas. I did not know him, but can easily see from all the photos commenorating his life, that he was a bright, hard working and responsible young man. You can be proud of the many achievements he worked so hard for. I am sure he touched all the lives of those who had the priveledge to know him. My heart goes out to you during this most tragic time. May God bless your family~

Dear Olga,
My heart is breaking for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved your baby boy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, pls let me know and I am here for you always.

Dear Olga,

My heart goes out to you. Rolland loved Thomas and sends his love to you. I wanted to let you know, no matter what you need or the time of day or night, Rolland and I are here for you.

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Thomas was a great friend to both of my kids in NJROTC. Jacob and Amber loved the friendship they had with him and the smile he always brought to their faces. He will be dearly missed. Our hearts go out to his family, please know that you and Thomas will always be in our prayers.

Even though, I am grateful for what little time I did spend with him, because every moment was life changing and an inspiration. I may be leaving south this year as a senior but I never want his memory to leave. I want everyone to realized how great this kid was.

My prayers for your family in this hard time, from Frederisckburg, VA.

I love you Thomas and will miss you always. You and I didn't get to spend an extreme amount of time together, but the time we did spend was amazing. You are one of my favorite people in this world. I love you more than anything. I hope that when we meet again nothing will have changed. That you'll still have that lovely smile and those adorable sayings and expressions.

I did not know your son, but from all I read, he was a wonderful young man. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you peace and comfort.

Hey there cuz', I couldn't believe it when mom told me but I wish I could have been there for you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I miss and love you please keep in touch....

Our deepest sympathy to the Rivera family. We will remember his many accomplishments for many years to come through our Thomas Luciano Youth Scholarship. We are confident that Thomas is at peace in heaven. We are grateful for the times we shared with him. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:1-3 1 Maggie Giraud, President PRCSC

i will never forget you i love you big brother

As a mother that has lost a child, my heart breaks for you. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I first met Thomas at Kerrie's. Thomas, Kerrie and my son Josh were hanging out together playing video games. He was such a wonderful young man and a pleasure to know. He will be especially missed by Kerrie and Heather, I know how much they loved him.

My mother, husband, and I passed this tragic accident on Saturday around 5.30pm heading I-77S. The feeling was just devastating and sinking. I couldn't stop thinking about the families, and we turned the news on as soon as we got back home. We were holding out hope, and instead were left utterly heartbroken. Thomas seemed like a wonderful and incredible young man from everything we have seen and read. .... We would like to pass along our deepest, heartfelt condelences, thoughts, prayers, and support to Thomas's mother, family, friends, and all he knew and touched during this excruciating time. I am praying for peace and comfort for those left behind. The only thing that makes much sense at all right now is ....

Only the good die young.

Peace to you, Thomas. And may you watch over and comfort your loved ones for all of eternity.

My granddaughter Heather was friends with Thomas. He was the only person who spoke to her at first in her Health Occupational Science class. They sat next to each other in that class and were good friends.
Heather thought a great deal about Thomas and is broken hearted about his death. We, as her family members, are grieved with her about his tragic death. Our hearts and prayers are sent to his family and all of his friends. Sally Crowell

I went and looked at a picture of this young man in his NJROTC uniform, and all I can say is wow. Drill team, color guard, rifle team, two service stars, chief petty officer, and so much more, this kid was on point! I would have loved to meet him as a cadet. Its people like Thomas who are great parts of our society and people everyone should strive to be like.

You were my best friend and always will be, you were the shoulder I would cry on and if I was upset and trying to hide it you knew better. Everything will be different once we have to face school, and graduation. Although we were suppost to stay together through it all we will meet again one day. I will never say goodbye because its not a goodbye its ill see you later. I love u thomas, brother, and best friend

you were an amazing person and deserved to be around for another sixty + years, your ms. swan impressions in 8th grade spanish at south charlotte made the class far more entertaining..you will be missed greatly.

I don't know you, but I am so very sorry about the loss of your son. What a bright, promising young man! You can be sure he is watching over all of us now. My deepest sympathy to you.

I have no words to express my sympathy towards this young man's family although I didnt know him my son(same age)attends the same school and I just want to say that my thoughts and Prayers are with this young man's mom and his family I ask the Lord to cover them with his Infinite Love and Peace to guide them and help them in this very hard time..Amen..

O for a day to walk again slow through a forest deep O for the time to talk again before I go to sleep O for the warmth of summer sun the chill of winters eve and O for the chance to sing my song once more before I go O for the scent of autumn air brisk clean and cold O for the chance to travel where the seas are blue and bold O for the prayer I never prayed O for the kiss I never kissed and O for the chance to sing my song once more while yet I missed cry of bird and wail of wind word unspoken sin un-sinned a night to dance a hill to climb the chance to sing while there is time O for the taste of meat and ale to linger on my tongue O for the sight of hill and dale and faces that are young O for the hand of one I love the time to bloom and grow and O for the chance to sing my song once more before I go.

May the peace of God be with all of you now and forever.

As a South Meck alum and a former NJROTC cadet also at South, I give my condolences to you... God Bless

Thomas was one of my good friends. I remember the first day he came into his ROTC class smiling from ear to ear, eager to meet new people and spread his joy. My only regret is, I wish I could've spent more time with him outside of school. I know he's in a better place just smiling away. I miss you Thomas and your family is in my prayers.

To Thomas's family and friends,
I am so sorry for your tragic loss. It sounds like Thomas was a splendid guy to know. Although I do not know you, nor did I know Thomas, I cried when I read this article. My thoughts are with you all. I hope great memories carry you all through these very tough times ahead.

Dear Olga,
You are in my prayers and I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. I missed you this morning, and I didn't realize what had happened until I arrived. I remember your sweet Thomas and his incredible salsa - Puerta Rican style. We are praying for you and your family. Without a doubt, we know he is surrounded by all of his loved ones that have gone before. Also, we know he is in the loving arms of a loving God. Know of our love and prayers during this time. Love, Melody and family

Dear Olga I'm so sorry for your loss we are all here for you in this time of sorrow.

Thomas, as a former NJROTC cadet I salute you! When I see the way your friends spoke of you and the outpouring of support for your family it makes me very sad that you're no longer with us but convicts all of us to do our best with the time we have. God rest your soul "Chief". I salute you again and look forward to spending time with you in Heaven my Friend.

Dear Olga, My heart goes out to you, your family and Thomas' friends.

Dear Thomas,
I got to know you through your loving mother. I know just how amazing you were because pretty much every time I saw your mom she mentioned you! She was always singing your praises, telling stories about you and about all the things you did together. Nobody could ever take care of your mom better than you did. Just know that she is loved by many and we will do what we can to help her heal. Thank you for being a beacon of hope, joy and love to everyone around you. You will be missed.

Olga,

Although I never had the pleasure of knowing your son (we're still family). I'm sure my cousin is smiling that beautiful smile of his that I've seen in pictures down on you. There are no words I could ever say to ease your pain, but maybe something as simple as this will bring you some comfort. He's w/ my dad and grandfather so he's definitely not alone. If you need anything that I could help with please let me know. ? u. Familia sticks together through everything.

Thomas was such an awesome young man. He and his friends would stand near where I was posted. He had such a great smile and was compliant when I had to ask he and friends to move along with the others. He carried himself with assurance and that was in his regular clothes not just his uniform. I am so sorry for your lost and wish I could take this pain from you but all I can do for you is to pray. My prayer is God's overwhelming love to fall on your family and hold each and everyone so close and near.

So sorry to hear of the passing of this young man. We were about 1/2 mile behind the accident scene yesterday...and knew in our hearts that something drastic had happened. We are so sorry for your loss and that these young adults have to go through the mourning of their friend! Keep your heads up...God is on your side! Much love to you all!!

From the few times I met Thomas, I could tell what an extraordinary young man he was and what a special bond he had with his mother. I'm so sorry for the loss of such a bright and beautiful soul.

Candlelight Vigil will take place tomorrow at South Meck Highschool at 8pm. Let's take this time to remember Thomas and support is mother.

Thomas was a student of mine who greeted me everyday with a big smile. He was caring, bright and friendly to everyone he encountered. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones. Thomas will live on in our hearts. I will always remember him for his beautiful spirit.

It does not surprise us that Thomas is described as such a good-hearted, loveable and giving person. His mom is an incredible person who obviously did a wonderful job of raising her son. We hope and pray that she will be strengthened during this tragic loss.
R&R - fellow salseros

Our prayers go out to all of his family. I know the ROTC unit will miss him also.

Olga, my heart goes out to you. Hard to believe that a young man with such beautiful life ahead of him is gone. Something as hard as that will take time to heal, but keep your trust and faith in God and he will guide you. Love You!! Que Dios lo tenga en su gloria.

Thomas Luciano was the bestest friend you could ever have. He would always have a smile on his face no matter what. He would always cheer me up when I'm down. He was the type of guy who made you laugh a lot. He was out going, fun, and loving person. It will be not the same without him by my side. He was so young and had big dreams. He will be missed but need forgotten by all people. He loved the ROTC program and everyone in there loved him. I will miss you Thomas Luciano and your singing to nicki minaj at lunch everyday I hope to see you soon. You are in heaven with the lord. I love you Thomas!!!!!!! You will always be in my heart!!!

My heartfelt condolences to the family for this tragic accident.

Thomas was a close dear friend of mine. What happened to him was just tragic. I'm still in shock and wish the best for his family, especially his mother. We did a lot together in South Meck's ROTC unit and Medical Science class. The memories will never be forgotten. Love you Tom Tom, always. <3
