Timothy M. Johnson, 40, passed away at his home in Charlotte, NC on April 13, 2020. Timothy was loved by so many and his family feels blessed to have had him in their lives. He will be greatly missed. Timothy is remembered as a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle & friend.
Timothy served as a bartender at the Firethorne Country Club. He also hosted and promoted comedy shows featuring local comedians under his company South Charlotte Laughs holding shows at Hickory Tavern, Aroojis Wine Room, and Graham St Pub and Patio.
Timothy is survived by his wife and son: Tiffany Stewart and Tru Johnson of Charlotte, NC; his mother: Celeste King of Killeen, TX; his mother-in-law Grace Stewart of Charlotte, NC; brothers: Floyd Johnson II of Centereach, NY and Damon Johnson of Newburgh, NY; sisters: Lila Holley of Killeen, TX, Lynise Johnson of Charlotte, NC and Miche'l Johnson of Bunker Hill, WV; nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. Timothy is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Lila King; father-in-law Thomas Stewart; and paternal aunt Pamela Miles-Thorpe.
The family will be holding a virtual memorial 6pm EST on Zoom on Thursday, April 23, 2020.
