In addition to his parents Tim was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Jean Powell, left to cherish a life time of memories is his wife of29 Years Janice Powell, two children; a daughter Wendy Jo Turan and Husband Deniz of Charlotte , a son Timothy W. Powell of Charlotte, two grandchildren; Julie Powell of Charlotte, and Caroline Powell of Cornelius. Tim is also survived by three brothers; David Powell and wife Alice of Charlotte, Michael Powell of Blacksburg SC and Randy Powell and wife Jeannie of Charlotte, one sister Cathy Hagler and husband Randy of Charlotte.
A service to celebrate the life of Tim will be held Saturday December 12, 2015. Visitation to receive family and friends will be at 1:00pm followed by a service to celebrate the life of Tim in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
