Tony Joe Little

He was born on February 7, 1946, in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Roy Franklin Little and Annie Mae Stancil Little. After graduating from Odell High School, Tony enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he proudly served for four years as a Military Policeman in Vietnam. During his tour, Tony was awarded the National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, Army Commencement medal and the Good Conduct medal.

Tony retired as a network administrator with AT&T. He enjoyed retirement by spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Katelyn, and grand dog, Ginger.

Left to mourn his loss is his daughter, Jennifer Little Newsome (Bryan) and son, Stephen Mark Little, along with his siblings, Helen Little Diorio and Larry Eugene Little (Linda), granddaughter, Katelyn Nancy Newsome, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Little Barrier and brothers, Albert Ray Little, Fred Howard Little and Roy Junior Little.

The family will greet friends from noon until 1:30 pm at on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road in Charlotte. A 2:15 pm graveside service with U.S. Army Funeral Honors will be held at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte.
