Born in Tennessee to parents Paula Sue Mayes and Steve Roger Shipley, Travis proudly served in the US Marines. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, classic black and white movies and music. He loved to travel with his family, creating lifelong memories.
Left to mourn his loss is his devoted wife Kristyn, cherished sons Christopher Chase Shipley and Travis Paul Shipley and daughter by love Leila Masingene along with future daughter-in-law Jordan Weston and granddaughter Nova Hope Shipley-Masingene. Other family members include uncles Scott and Donnie Mayes, special aunt Chris Strickland, in-laws David and Jane Barker.
Travis is preceded in death by his father, infant brother Donald Shane Shipley; grandparents Earl and Betty Mayes and Tom and Aislee Shipley and uncle Ernie Strickland.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 4-6pm at Joy Church located at 11516 Idlewild Road in Matthews.
