A visitation will begin at 1:00PM Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 6824 Tuckaseegee Road, with a service to celebrate his life to follow at 2:00PM at the church, Reverend David Lee officiating.
Mr. Tillman was born in Gaston County August 5, 1988. He attended Central Cabarrus High School, loved all sports, baseball, basketball and football. He also loved animals including Roxie, Dixie and Ralphie.
Travis was dearly loved by his family and friends. Surviving are parents, Joe Tillman, Jr. and his mother Kimberly Tillman both of Harrisburg, NC, grandparents, Joe Tillman, Sr. and Fay Tillman of Charlotte, Patricia Hatley of Charlotte, aunts, Crystal Harris (Grier) and Kandice Murphy (Jeff) all of Charlotte, uncle, Tracy Hatley (Stacey) of Charlotte and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clay Hatley in 2009.
