Vickie Armstrong Benson, 66, of Charlotte passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Born December 6, 1952 in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. Guinn, Jr., Betty Young and her special mother Bessie Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Freeman; grandson, Xavier Freeman, granddaughter, Makayla Freeman; brother Clark Guinn; sister Janice Davis (Merzie); a host of special friends and relatives.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. you are all in my prayers during this difficult time. I hate I did not know the time of the service. Ms. Vicki will be greatly missed. I loved that if she had an opinion about something she was going to let it be know. she was as real as it gets and always stayed true to herself. I hate I wont get to see her at work anymore but im blessed to have been able to call her my friend
