Virginia Ausbrooks

Mrs. Ausbrooks was a native of St. Louis, MO and was the daughter of the late Earl and Zollie Ginter.

In 1950 she wed Stanley Noel Ausbrooks in St. Louis. They moved to Cincinnati, OH and then to Charlotte, NC in 1977.

She was a devoted wife and mother and a beloved “Nana” to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley N. Ausbrooks; brothers, Earl Ginter Jr. (Bette), and Rudolph Vincent Ginter; and sister, Dorothy Franz (Art).

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Ausbrooks of Centerville, GA and Sue Ausbrooks Warren of Centerville, GA; grandchildren, Julie (Brandon) Miller of Roswell, GA, Katie (Kenny) Cofer of Warner Robins, GA, and Virginia Warren of Atlanta; and one great-grandchild, Maxwell Noel Cofer. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Bahr of Springfield, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Rd., Charlotte.

Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to one’s favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Ausbrooks.
