A visitation will be held on Monday the 24th of November, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridgeview Baptist Church,105 Pine Road, Mount Holly, NC. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
She was born on the 2nd of March, 1942 in Charlotte, North Carolina one of ten children to the late William Prentiss Grant and Louise Elizabeth McCraken Grant. Virginia worked as an office manager with the Frito-Lay Co. in Greensboro, North Carolina and later as secretary of Covenant United Methodist Church in Charlotte. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.
"Ginny", as she was affectionately known, is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles H. Patrick; one son, Prentiss Leroy "Prent" Patrick; one granddaughter, Alisha Patrick; three brothers: Prentiss Leroy Grant and wife, Linda; Charles Edward "Eddie" Grant and Fairley Eugene Grant and a number of nieces and nephews.
