The youngest child and only daughter born on June 7, 1947 to Robert Scott II and Mary Virginia Mallory Scott in Flourtown, PA, Virginia moved to Charlotte in the early 1970’s. She was soon working as a scheduler for CT Main, Perigon and Aker Kaverner.
Virginia was a lifelong lover of animals, passionate about genealogy and had been known to spend many hours working on Ancestry.com and ‘Find A Grave’. She had an artistic side to her personality wherein she loved to play the guitar and sing and was a distinguished sketch artist. Some of her artwork adorned the walls of her home. Virginia also valued a good game of bridge with friends.
Left to mourn her loss is her daughter Elizabeth Kelly, stepson Kraig Biehl and stepdaughter Janelle Bechtel, brother Robert Scott III and grandchildren Sean, Anna and Kyra Kelly.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte.
