Vivian Leibowitz

Vivian was the beloved wife of the late Jacob (Jack) Leibowitz, and the daughter of the late Leon and Estelle Singer. Mrs. Leibowitz graduated from Douglas College in New Jersey before founding Leibowitz Market Research Associates. She was an avid Mah Jongg player and reader. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

Vivian is survived by her brother, Stewart and his wife Elaine. Vivian was a devoted mother to Richard Leibowitz and Beverly Johnson of Wareham, MA, Teri and Bernie Ackerman of Fort Mill, SC, Lynn Leibowitz and Steve Horton of Greenwood Village, CO, Susan and Phillip Collins of Morehead City, NC, and the Late Robert Leibowitz and wife Judith of Rockport, ME. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Laura Tripp, Lesley Snyder, Jason and Adam Ackerman, Kiva Leibowitz, and Sarah and Sydni Collins. Her three great-grandchildren, Jack, Drew and Ben Snyder were the source of great joy over her later years.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte, with Rabbi Murray Ezring officiating.
