Wildt was born on February 15, 2005, in Asheville, NC. He was raised in Charlotte, NC and graduated from Myers Park High School in 2023. Though his time here was far too short, Wildt lived life with passion and enthusiasm. Whether he was going to car meets, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, and spending time with friends, Wildt was happy. He enjoyed the friendships developed in many circles of his life. Family and friends have said it best - Wildt never knew a stranger. He was outgoing, always had a smile, and enjoyed his life to the fullest. When faced with a problem, Wildt has an uncanny knack for finding a variety of solutions. He had a special place in his heart for animals, particularly dogs. You could frequently find Wildt playing with the animals, enjoying the unconditional love and companionship they bring.
But more than anything, Wildt was a beloved son, brother, and family member. The first of four boys, he liked to joke around and be a typical oldest brother. He was also the first to make rounds at family functions to give all his family the best hugs ever. Wildt was never shy to share his love and laughter with others.
Wildt is survived by his loving parents, Mark Hardin and Prentice Houston Hardin; three brothers, Paite, Kaide and Baird Hardin; paternal grandparents, Larry Hardin (Marilyn), Rebecca Price (Tim); maternal grandparents, David and Barbara Houston; paternal aunt, Dana Casteel (Jamie); maternal uncles, T.Mox (Kelly) Houston, Kenneth (Sarah) Houston, Tray Houston, and Brandon Houston; paternal cousins, Colten Holman (Harlie) and Jonathan Casteel; maternal cousins, Kenneth Merrill and Abbie Houston; and a lot of extended family members across the country.
Ride free, Wildt. You will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted that you lived each day with excitement and love.
