Bo, I can't tell you how I have enjoyed all the stories Doug has told me about you boys thru the years. You surely will be missed by many !

I lived up the road from Bo for the first 11 years of my life. He was always kind to me. I got back in touch with him via Facebook during 2009 and stopped by his house on a trip to Charlotte while still living in NC. We talked about the early days and I could tell he was still very much connected to "the neighborhood," a good thing. Glad I had the chance to see him again. RIP old friend; thoughts and prayers go with your family.

He loved the beach, he loved BBQ, he loved toys, but most of all he loved his family. We are so thankful for Bo and the open arms he offered to our son, Chris (even though he is a Yankee) making him part of the family. We are praying for you Leigh, Tonya, Carol, Crissy and Patti. Please know that our hearts go out to all of you in your grief.

Bo was such a good neighbor and friend growing up together on Wicklow Place in Charlotte.  He and my brother would work on lawnmowers and small engines in his mom's garage.  He was someone who like to tinker on things.  So glad I knew him and so happy that he shared with me about his faith and commitment to Jesus Christ as his savior and Lord.  I look forward to seeing him in heaven.  Rest in peace, Bo, love you always.

Bo and I never met, but he invited me to be his Facebook friend. I felt as if I knew him from our contact on Facebook. My deepest sympathy goes out to Bo's family.

Bo lived two houses down from my Dad, Harvey, for almost 30 years.  Last summer my Dad got sick and could not stay at home anymore.  One day I went over to check on my Dad's house and it wasn't long before Bo pulled into the driveway.  Not recognizing the vehicle I was driving, he wanted to make sure I was supposed to be over there.  That's the kind of man Bo was, a concerned neighbor and a good friend.  My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

We will miss you our dear friend!! We will always have the memories we shared with you in our hearts forever!!! Our prayers are with all of you in this very sad time!! His memories will always be with you!!!

its hard for me to believe bo is gone we grew up as cousins worked a long career together had alot a good times together over the years i will miss him alot

I went to school with Bo from 1st grade all the way through to 12th grade.  We reconnected via Facebook.  My cousin, Donna, also suffered from liver disease and Bo became her friend on Facebook to talk to her and help educate her.  Nice of him to do that at my request, especially since he didn't even know her.  When I think of Bo I remember the bounce in his step, his smile, his cowlick, and his tightly cinched belt!  He missed playing a character on The Little Rascals!  Such happy thoughts of him!  Beautiful picture of father and daughter at a wedding.  Thank you for sharing your father and husband with us! I knew Bo almost all my life. We would ride around in his old AMC with the Levi seats. Bo was a very fine man and will be missed.

Bo was a neighbor many years ago at The Slope Apts. He introduced me to my husband, He was a sweet man, full of kindness. He will be surely missed by many friends and family. May God be your strength during this hard time. Bo and (late) Bill McGinn  are looking down on us all. Heaven has another angel.
