Mr. William Richard “Bill” Culp, Sr., 69, of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence. A native of Charlotte, he was the son of the late George Stanford Culp and Bertha Mae Williams Culp. Bill made his living as a Self-Employed Appliance Repairman. He loved birds, music, racing and was very neighborly.
He is survived by his children, LaDonna C. Wilson, William Culp, Jr., Joey Culp, Lucinda Whitlow, Marcus Stanford; by grandchildren, Josh Walden, Ali Culp, Michael Culp, Sydney Culp, Courtney Whitlow; by a great-grandchild, William Troy Culp; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Eric Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
