Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joy, his daughter Beth and son-in law Philip, and his brother Jerry – his son Lee is deceased. Bill lived an adventurous life with no regrets – he was an avid sailor, flew around in a powered parachute, enjoyed hiking and skydiving among many other pursuits.
Most importantly, Bill was a wonderful husband and amazing father who will be greatly missed.
The memorial service is private; however, if you would like to remember Bill please consider donating to Hospice of Cabarrus County or The Humane Society of Charlotte.
