The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2013 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2013 following the visitation at McEwen Funeral Home.
Bill was born August 11, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina the son of Lee D. and Elsie Turner Pressley. He was an avid gardener and a music lover, especially the Beatles. He also enjoyed painting and playing golf every chance he got.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jere Pressley of the home; son, William D “Billy” Pressley; sister, Linda Smith "The Other Brother"; brothers; Gary Miller (Deane), Steve Turner (Ann) and Michael Turner; Numerous nieces , nephews and other loving family.
