Woodrow "Bo" Wallace Jr.

Mr. Wallace, 65, of Waxhaw passed away unexpectedly at home on July 30, 2013. He was born in Charlotte on July 13, 1948 to the late Woodrow and Sarah Wallace. Bo attended Garinger High School and later had a career in the food industry. He was in pre-sales for 13 years with Coca Cola and since 1989 has been a production supervisor for Ruth's Salads/B & H Foods. Bo was full of energy and enjoyed life, he was an avid Panthers fan, but most importantly, he was a true family man. He loved his family and cherished his time with his grandchildren, children and beloved wife. Bo is predeceased by a brother, Stephen Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Doris Taylor Wallace; children, Kimberly Dawn Thortsen and Shon Carl Wallace; grandchildren, Taylor and Hannah Thortsen and Shon Michael, Christopher and Ashley Wallace; brother, Tommy Lee Wallace and sisters, Virginia Proctor and Elaine Giles. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2 from 4 6 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. Funeral services will be private.
